The Fort Worth Center for Compassionate Communication was established by Owen Kinser in his endeavor to share the treasure of knowledge he has discovered and continues to grow from in studying Nonviolent Communication. Mr. Kinser facilitates workshops that are designed to foster empathic behavior and thoughtfulness in those seeking more honesty and compassion in their relationships.

The workshops are based on the research and instruction of Marshall Rosenberg, founder of Nonviolent Communication.
The idea of NVC is when we focus on the feelings and needs first, we create a quality of connection which enables understanding and a clarity to discover new ways to get everyone's needs met. We reframe thoughts and words that point to fear, shame, threats, guilt or any other form of domination into a language that help us thrive and connect more deeply into what's important to us in the moment.
